The Bradley Advantage

As an education major, you can pick the age of students you want to teach and the subject area you want to master. Bradley offers degrees in early childhood (birth-second grade), elementary (first-fourth grade), middle school (fifth through eighth grade), high school and special education. Within each program, you take courses for certification in art, English language arts, biology, chemistry, physics, math, music, general science, family and consumer science, history/social studies or Spanish. Additionally, you earn an English as a Second Language (ESL) endorsement through early childhood, elementary, middle school and special education. To ensure you spend as much time as possible in classrooms, you will observe classes your first year and will work in classrooms throughout your four years at Bradley.

Successful Outcomes

Bradley graduates boast a 100 percent pass rate on Illinois licensure tests. They’re then quickly hired, as almost all recent graduates moved onto jobs or graduate school within six months. Graduates are working throughout Illinois, Iowa, Missouri, North Carolina, Texas and Wisconsin.
