Instructional Design for Insurance Certificate

This certificate course is designed to provide insurance professionals with the knowledge and skills necessary to design effective training programs for employees within their industry. You will learn the principles of instructional design and how to apply them to create engaging and effective learning experiences. Under the expert guidance of Dr. Dakota Horn, an instructor in the Communications Department at Bradley, you’ll be equipped with the tools you need to redefine, refocus, and reshape your training, instructional delivery, and teaching methods. Over 15 weeks, you’ll be guided through engaging videos and lessons on your own time and attend 1:1 scheduled interaction with Dr. Horn.

Throughout the course, participants will receive feedback and support from the instructor and peers, and will gain practical skills that can be immediately applied in your workplace. By the end of this course, you will have the ability to design and implement effective training programs that will contribute to the overall success of your insurance company.

Taking into account the busy lifestyles of working professionals, the recommended time commitment is 2 hours per week, with an additional 2-3 hours for recommended group debates.
