Faculty and Staff Membership

Faculty and staff can use the Markin Center on a daily basis with the purchase of the Markin Center Privilege. The cost of the Markin Center privilege is $120 per calendar year. The purchase of the privilege after January will be pro-rated on a monthly basis. For example, if the privilege is purchased in April, the cost will be $90 for rest of the year. The privilege must be purchased until the end of the calendar year. Payment can also be set up through the human resources department with payroll deduct. Information about this process is sent out via campus mail sometime in November.

Daily Passes

Family passes will only be issued to family members of students and faculty/staff that have purchased the Markin privilege for the current year.

Family pass hours while classes are in session are Monday-Friday 6-9 a.m. and Saturday-Sunday 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Guest Pass

A guest pass will be issued to a person who enters the facility with a Bradley student, faculty or staff member. Family pass holders are not allowed the privilege of bringing guests to the Markin Center.

  • Guest passes are sold for $5 per person.
  • If guests want to attend a fitness class, they must pay the $2 fee for the class in addition to the guest pass fee.
  • Each student, faculty or staff member may bring only one guest per visit.
  • Guests must be 18 years old or older. Proof of age is required.
  • The student, faculty or staff member must present a valid Bradley ID when purchasing a guest pass in the Campus Recreation office, Markin Center 120.
  • Each student, faculty or staff member is responsible for the actions of his/her guest while in the Markin Center and must accompany the guest at all times. If a guest is not accompanied by his/her host, the guest will be asked to leave the Markin Center.

    • 6 months - $50
    • Year - $80
  • Half Locker
    • 6 months - $35
    • Year - $60

Reservation Policy

Various recreational spaces in the Markin Center can be reserved by Bradley University students, faculty, staff and student organizations for university events. Facility space requests can be made by submitted the electronic form on the campus rec homepage. Please allow up to 10 business days for processing. Rental fees and support service fees may be charged based on the event.
