Bradley University's Turner Center for Entrepreneurship is offering a number of events and programs in April to help local small businesses succeed.


Starting Your Business in Illinois Workshop

This workshop is for aspiring entrepreneurs who want to learn all the components of how to start a successful business in Illinois. Participants will get a realistic view of the requirements and the resources available to support new ventures. While attending this two-hour workshop, at no cost, you will learn how to get your business name registered, where to obtain a tax ID number, which legal form to choose, business planning, taxes, financing options and much more! These events are sponsored by the Illinois Small Business Development Center at Bradley and co-sponsored by Morton Community Bank. If so, you've come to the right place! The Illinois Small Business Development Center at Bradley will help you "make the right move." This workshop will cover first steps, how to seek help and items to consider when seeking intellectual property protection.
