6.03 Account and Access Creation

I. Purpose

The purpose of the Account and Access Creation policy is to document the policy for terminating accounts and/or permissions to computing resources.

II. Description

Account creation

After a potential student is admitted an account will be created.

Once IRT is aware of a new employee an account will be created.

These accounts will allow access to common services including email, network and library.

Occasionally specific access in required for contractors, agents and other non-Bradley individuals for specific purposes.
These accounts require appropriate authorization.

Access to Proprietary or Protected Data

III. Scope

This policy applies to all Bradley University computer and network users.
