Biography

Classical guitarist Michael W. Hull has been teaching at Bradley since 1991. He teaches applied lessons and directs the Guitar Ensemble as well as Musicum Collegium Early Music Ensemble. A dedicated chamber musician and educator, he has hosted the annual Mid-America Guitar Ensemble Festival at Bradley. In addition to serving as Director, he commissioned three works for guitar guitar orchestra that were premiered at the festival. He maintains an active studio and demanding teaching schedule.

Mr. Hull's performance credits include many concerts, performances and a residency at such institutions and venues as The University of Baltimore, The Springfield Classical Guitar Society, Eureka College, Eastern Michigan University and many more. He has composed original works for the guitar, piano and guitar with soprano saxophone. Frequently, he performs as a soloist and as a chamber musician with the Twin City Duo.
