Biography

Becky serves as the second Managing Director of the Turner School of Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Her responsibilities include day-to-day management of the Turner School, creation of new student entrepreneurship activities and programs, and primary contact with students and faculty. She also serves the Foster College of Business as an instructor in the areas of entrepreneurship and management.

She received her MBA degree in Business from Bradley University and attended Bethel College in Mishawaka, Indiana where she studied Business. As a proud graduate of Bradley University, Becky is passionate about continuing Bradley’s commitment to excellence in inspiring our future leaders. Becky was an entrepreneur for over 20 years as a business owner of a successful advertising agency in Peoria, Illinois, primarily in the areas of business to consumer and client strategy consulting. Five years following, Becky worked in the non-profit sector in the C-Suite in Marketing and Business Development.

Becky first joined Bradley University in 2015 in the Management and Leadership Department of the Foster College of Business as a fulltime Instructor. During her time there, she received the Faculty of the Year, and Advisor of the Year multiple times. She also works as a facilitator for the Center of Professional Excellence leading businesses in various seminars such as Emotional Intelligence, Team Building, DISK, and Revenue Cycle.

Teaching

Becky believes that the students are our future, and is committed to making every day an opportunity to contribute to society by engaging as an efficient and interesting instructor. Her goal is to offer “tools” that every student can add to their toolbox and use not only today, but in their career. She values the uniqueness of her students and strives to bring her real-world corporate experiences into the classroom. Currently she teaches courses on managing entrepreneurial growth, collaboration in organizations, and innovation in organizations. Becky is also involved in university wide convergence projects, where students work collaboratively with external partners to design and commercialize an innovation.
