“Innovation for All” a Living Learning Community

This Living Learning Community (LLC) is open to ALL MAJORS. Together we create a “Community for Thinkers & Tinkerers and Entrepreneurs & Dreamers.”

Passionate about Discovery? Constantly Curious? Fascinated with Ideas? Obsessed with Innovations?

  • We get it.
  • You need a place to unleash your creativity.
  • Think out loud.
  • Bounce around ideas.
  • Ponder deep thoughts.

Together, we live and breathe innovation and make lifelong friends in the process.

Live Together

The “Innovation of All” LLC resides on a co-ed floor of Geisert Hall. Dr. Jane Talkington serves as the co-curricular coordinator. She keeps the community connected across the entire academic year.

Learn Together

Every fall semester, LLC students enroll in the innovation course (SEI 200) taught by Dr. Marcos Hashimoto from the Turner School of Entrepreneurship and Innovation.

Even Win Together

LLC members meet others who can form teams to compete for $20,000 in student venture competitions, Social Impact Pitch Challenge and the BIG IDEA

SEI 200 “Innovation for All” (3 credit hours) meets the "Multidisciplinary Integration" requirement in the Bradley Common Core. This course transforms a room of strangers into a ‘community of innovators’ as we study entrepreneurs and innovative ideas that reshape the world. Sustainability topics include: green chemistry, circular economy, corporate social responsibility, environmental goals, carbon footprinting, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs). Innovation topics cover: design thinking, open and disruptive innovation, lean startup, agile methodology, innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystems.

Hands-on Experience! Students create podcasts with entrepreneurs or innovators based in Peoria. Students will also prepare entries for the Big Idea Innovation Expo held in the spring where they will learn the art of the customer discovery process in a public trade show atmosphere.

Together, we build your network in the Bradley family and the Peoria community.
