Mechanical Engineering
The Department of Mechanical Engineering is focused on innovation and problem solving in a broad spectrum of topics that impact all sectors of our society. These topics include energy management, the environment, biomedical, robotics, and equipment for aerospace, automotive, farming and earth moving applications. The curriculum integrates design experience into all levels of the program and emphasizes hands-on laboratory experiences. The program culminates in a year-long, industry based capstone senior design project.
