Community Chorus To Present Concert

The Community Chorus will present a concert “Favorite Choruses from Choral Masterworks” on April 9.

The Bradley Community Chorus, directed by John Jost, professor of music and director of choral activities at Bradley, and aided by Carol Wessler at the piano, will present a concert titled, “Favorite Choruses from Choral Masterworks,” on Sunday, April 9, at 3 p.m. at the Dingeldine Music Center, located at 1417 W. Barker, in Peoria.

Featured choruses are drawn from sacred choral-orchestral works of Handel, Haydn, Mozart, Mendelssohn, Brahms, and Honegger.

Admission is $10 for adults and free for students.  The concert is part of the Bradley Music Scholarship Concert Series with all proceeds going toward scholarships for music students. Tickets may be purchased at the door or by calling 309-677-2650.
