I. Purpose

This procedure documents the steps to ensure physical security to the servers and other contents of the Morgan Hall Data Center.

Supports 3.01 Server Physical Security Access.

II. Description

The custodian for the Morgan Hall Data Center is the Director of Infrastructure.

Locks

The data center must always be locked.

Key Access

The Bradley University Police Department must authorize key access to the data center. A list of personnel authorized a key will be maintained.

Non Keyed Access

The Director of Infrastructure will maintain a list of staff allowed access to the data center.

An individual on the access list may escort other individuals into the data center. A log will be maintained of all escorted access.

III. Scope

This procedure applies to the data center in Morgan Hall.
