Submission of Master’s Thesis
Students completing a master’s thesis must submit the completed thesis digitally to Proquest via UMI ETD Administrator. This database does not accept scholarly projects in place of theses. Please contact your advisor for guidance on submitting a scholarly project to the appropriate database.
Students submitting a master’s thesis must first set up an account with UMI ETD Administrator. Please see Proquest Resources and Guidelines for formatting requirements. If your program requires different formatting from those provided here, follow your program’s guidelines.
Students will have options regarding copyright and publication. Student authors may select Traditional Publishing or Open Access Publishing. Traditional Publishing is the option UMI Dissertation Publishing has always supported. Open Access Publishing is a new approach that combines the features of Traditional Publishing with free and open access to the full-text PDF of the graduate work. (Note that there is a $95 fee for Open Access Publishing.) See Proquest’s Resources and Guidelines for additional information.
Thesis Processing Time Guidelines
You may submit your thesis to Proquest once it is approved (with completed signature page). The processing time begins after your degree has been posted by the Registrar’s office, which is two weeks after the date of graduation.
