Get Hands-on with Major League Soccer

Chicago Fire FC is offering unique internship opportunities for students interested in gaining hands-on experience with a Major League Soccer club. These immersive internships provide behind-the-scenes access to matchday operations and media production.

We are currently seeking a intern in one of the following areas for Bradley’s activation games:

Mascot Family Day – May 9th 
Chicago vs. Vancouver – July 16th 
Bradley Night – August 1st
InterMiami Match – September 9th 

Internship areas:

Marketing & Game Presentation

Learn how in-game entertainment, fan engagement activations, and promotions enhance the matchday experience.

  • Assist with on-field presentations such as pre-match ceremonies and halftime activations.
  • Observe how video board content, music, and announcements shape the atmosphere.
  • Support fan initiatives like contests, giveaways, and interactive games.
  • Gain insight into planning theme nights, sponsor activations, and promotions.

Communications & Media Relations

Experience the inner workings of the club’s media operations and storytelling efforts.

  • Observe press conferences, media scrums, and post-match interviews.
  • Help with media check-in, credentialing, and managing the press box.
  • Learn how match recaps and press releases are crafted and distributed.
  • Understand how relationships with local and national media are developed.

Digital Marketing & Social Content

Get a firsthand look at how Chicago Fire FC engages fans through digital platforms and matchday content creation.

  • Assist with live social coverage on platforms like Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok.
  • Observe in-game photography and video production for social media.
  • Learn strategies for increasing fan participation and engagement.

Sponsorship & Partnerships

Gain insight into how the club brings sponsor activations and hospitality experiences to life.

Event & Operations Management

Go behind the scenes to understand stadium logistics and operations.

  • Shadow staff through event setup and teardown.
  • Learn what it takes to create a seamless, world-class fan experience.
