Let’s Talk: 250 Years of U.S. Diplomatic Achievements with Tom Selinger

Join us in celebrating 250 Years of U.S. Diplomatic Achievements with Tom Selinger.
After 27 years in the US Foreign Service, Tom Selinger knows what it takes to build international relationships. With overseas postings in Kyrgyzstan, Denmark, Croatia, Albania, and Trinidad and Tobago, Tom Selinger has worked on issues ranging from security cooperation to citizen services. In Washington, he served in the Bureaus of European and Eurasian Affairs and Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor, as well as at Georgetown University’s Institute for the Study of Diplomacy. He now serves as the Project Manager for the Association of Diplomatic Studies and Training (ADST).
From careers in the Foreign Service to citizen diplomacy, this event is certain to offer a wide range of ways to celebrate what US diplomats do and to learn how to be more engaged. This event is co-sponsored by Lee L. Morgan Chair in International Studies; Political Science & Law; Peoria Area World Affairs Council (PAWAC).
All are invited to attend.
