2014 Accounting Awards Banquet

Many accounting majors received awards and scholarships at the Department of Accounting’s annual banquet which was held at the Gateway Building in Peoria.

The following accounting majors recently received awards and scholarships at the Department of Accounting annual banquet which was held at the Gateway Building in Peoria.

The evening included an update for alumni on Department of Accounting activities, dinner for students, parents, faculty, and guests, and an awards ceremony recognizing not only the scholarship and award winners but also the 2014 graduates and new members of Beta Alpha Psi. Mr. David DeFreitas, Chair of the Department’s Advisory Council, spoke to the students about the many opportunities available to them in the accounting profession.

The Department appreciates the support it receives from alumni and friends so that it can recognize these outstanding students.
