America Live! Premieres April 26-May 1

 Bradley University Theatre completes its 2010-2011 season with AMERICA LIVE! – an original interactive performance piece developed through Bradley’s award winning InterMedia Center and in partnership with the Interactive Media Department. AMERICA LIVE! performs for a limited one-week run in the Hartmann Center of the Performing Arts on April 27th, 28th, 29th, and 30th at 8:00 p.m. as well as on Sunday, May 1st at 2:30 p.m. A special preview performance is scheduled for Tuesday, April 26th at 8:00 PM with preview tickets prices at $7.00 for all seats.

Written and directed by Jeff Wirth from a story concept by Jim Ferolo and George H. Brown, AMERICA LIVE! is a comedic look at the audience-participatory, competition-drive, interactively-mediated culture that shapes our perspectives” from politics to commercials to talk shows to game shows.

A limited number of VIP seats are available for audience members who would like to have an exclusive view of the intrigue and action that goes on behind the scenes at AMERICA LIVE!  VIP audience members will be seated in a special section of the broadcast booth where you can watch the on-stage performances via a wide-screen TV while also getting a backstage view of the plotting and scheming going on in the broadcast booth.

Tickets prices for the general public are $14,  $12 for Bradley Faculty, Staff and Senior Citizens, and $7 for Students. Tickets can be purchased at the Hartmann Center Box Office or by calling (309) 677-2650. Reservation requests can be made on-line by visiting Bradley University Theatre’s website at http://theatre.bradley.edu. Group discounts are available for groups 10 or more.
