Art Hosts Demonstration Day
Department of Art opens art studios to BU students and visitors on Friday, October 26.

On October 26th from 10AM to 3PM the Department of Art is opening all of its studios in Painting, Sculpture, Graphic Design, Book Arts, Printmaking, Ceramics, and Photography so that students interested in our programs (or even just one class) can see faculty and graduate students demonstrating the intricacies of their craft. Our nationally recognized faculty will be showing students how to throw clay on a wheel, make relief and intaglio prints, carve in limestone, cast in bronze, weld steel, hand set type, bind an art book, paint a portrait, construct a pin hole camera, and compose a still life drawing.
