Art On the Roof

Associate Professor of Art Heather Brammeier has recently installed a large-scale artwork titled Rhyme on the roof of the Century Center in South Bend, Indiana.  Brammeier was selected for a two-year exhibition called Sightlines.  The exhibition is a collaboration between the South Bend Museum of Art and the Century Center (the convention center that houses the museum).  The Century Center is on the St. Joseph River in the heart of downtown South Bend.  Brammeier’s installation is made from a painted wooden structure supporting masses of blue and red PEX, a flexible plumbing material.  Bradley students and faculty will recognize it as the same material used for the installation on the Heuser Art Center.  Brammeier’s installation in South Bend will be on view until May, 2017.
