Bo Burnham to Perform at Bradley
American comedian, singer-songwriter, musician, and actor Bo Burnham will perform on campus on Sunday, November 2.

The Activities Council of Bradley University (ACBU) is thrilled to announce that American comedian, singer-songwriter, musician, and actor Bo Burnham will perform on Sunday, November 2nd, at 7 p.m. at the Renaissance Coliseum at Bradley University.
Tickets are available for purchase now at the Coliseum ticket office for faculty, staff and the public. Tickets will be $10 for the public, $5 for Bradley faculty and staff, and free for Bradley students donating a non-perishable food item or $1 donation. For students to receive a ticket in advance, bring a non-perishable food item or a $1 to the Student Activities Office. Tickets can also be purchased at the door. Food items and donations will be given to the Peoria Food Bank. QuickCash is not accepted. Student must show a current Bradley ID. The show will be general admission seating for all.
An opening act will be determined at a later date. Doors to the Coliseum will open at 6 p.m.
Bo Burnham released his debut EP, on Comedy Central records, “Bo Fo Sho” in 2008. The next year he released his full length self-titled album. In 2010 Burnham released his second album, which was number 1 on the Top Comedy Albums chart in 2010, and had his first live comedy special on Comedy Central called “Words, Words, Words.” Also in 2011 Bo Burnham was the winner of the stand-up showdown on Comedy Central. Later, in 2013 he released his third comedy music album and his new stand up show “What.” “What.” was released in full length on YouTube and Netflix. “What.” currently has more than 5 million views on YouTube and the album was number 1 on the Top Comedy Albums chart in 2014.
In addition to his comedic shows and albums, Burnham co-created and stared in the MTV television show “Zach Stone is Gonna Be Famous,” wrote a poetry book titled “Egghead: or, you can’t survive on ideas alone”. NY-times.com says Bo Burnham is, “A truly clever comedic mild comfortable with invention and experimentation” The Herald-Review.com raves, “Burnham is funny, painfully so. You will laugh.”
ACBU, the premier student programming board at Bradley University, brings live entertainment to campus, including musicians, comedians and lecturers; the organization’s signature events include Homecoming, Siblings Weekend, Spring Fling and the ACBU Cinema campus movie series. Ten student-run committees are responsible for the coordination of all performances, events and activities.
