Dr. Dzapo performed as soloist in Bach’s Overture No. 2 in B Minor for flute and orchestra, and Dr. Jost directed the concerts along with Dr. Martin Dicke, cantor at Trinity Lutheran Church were the concerts took place.
Other works on the concerts included Brandenburg Concerto No. 4, the Concerto for Oboe and Violin, the motet “The Spirit Helpeth Us,” and Cantatas 70, 131, and 170. Dr. John Orfe performed a recital of Ferruccio Busoni piano transcriptions of Bach pieces written for other instruments.
