SAE International puts on the car show as a fundraiser

The show on Parents Weekend is hosted by SAE Internationals (the former Society of Automotive Engineers). SAE International puts on the car show as a fundraiser to pay for various club activities, organizing the entire event including the required sponsorship and reservations. The event sported over forty cars with around a two hundred spectators.
