C-Span Visits Campus
C-Span is visiting campus and Peoria this week as part of their national tour.

C-SPAN’s ‘2016 Cities Tour’ is in Peoria and they are making a few stops on campus. Crews are interviewing local residents for Book-TV and American-History-TV for the 2016 Cities Tour initiative. They spoke with Bradley University Professor of Sociology, Dr Jackie Hogan regarding her her book ‘Lincoln, Inc.: Selling the Sixteenth President in Contemporary America.’ They will also speak with representatives from Bradley’s Special Collections. They are planning 6-7 segments that will focus on local nonfiction authors for Book TV and another 6-7 segments will focus on local history for History TV. The stories are slated to air Oct 15th and 16th.
