Caterpillar Faculty Achievement Awards Announced

Two Bradley University faculty members were recognized with Caterpillar Achievement awards

Two Bradley University faculty members were recognized with Caterpillar Achievement awards, two of the university’s most prestigious awards during the Founder’s Day Convocation on October 17 on campus.

Caterpillar Faculty Achievement Award for Scholarship

Dr. Yasser Khodair
Assistant Professor of Civil Engineering and Construction

Dr. Khodair joined the Bradley faculty in 2009. He has published scholarly papers in 20 peer-reviewed journals and proceedings. He also serves as a reviewer for several core journals in his field, is credited with developing six research ideas that have been submitted to the Illinois Center for Transportation for consideration, and is a co-principal investigator for ICT-funded research grants totaling more than $400,000. He earned a Ph.D. in structural engineering from the Stevens Institute of Technology, a master’s degree in civil engineering from Rutgers University and a B.S. in construction engineering from The American University in Cairo.

Dr. Mollie Adams
Assistant Professor of Accounting
Program Coordinator for the Master of Science in Accounting

Dr. Adams joined the Bradley faculty in 2010. She is a CPA and has worked in public accounting in the areas of tax and audit as well as in private industry. She is recognized by her peers for distinguishing herself as a model teacher in the classroom and a passionate, conscientious developer of new course materials.

She earned a Ph.D. in accounting from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, and a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s degree in business administration from Missouri State University.
