Bradley University celebrates Martin Luther King Jr. Day with a “Day of Service”.  Students will be volunteering at the Midwest Food Bank on Monday, January 20th as a way to celebrate the life of Dr. King.  They will be sorting and organizing donations in the warehouse from 9-11 am.

Jessica Chandler, Director of the Lewis J. Burger Center for Student Leadership and Public Service helped organize the Day of Service.  “This is a way to put the teachings of Dr. King into action.  We are performing a community service that will help to empower and strengthen our community, in his honor.”

The Day of Service is hosted by the Lewis J. Burger Center for Student Leadership and Public Service, Office of Multicultural Student Services and the Student Activities Office at Bradley.
