Describing a Word Through Pictures

Scott Cavanah teaches in the Department of Interactive Media and owns Studio Cavanah, a photography studio in Peoria, Illinois.  He recently opened an exciting photography exhibit entitled “Every Other”.  This collaborative project with Matt Buedel showcases a themed word and according to Cavanah, “each week, one would assign the other a one-word theme with the best photograph inspired by that theme due at the end of the week.”  The photos and accompanying blogs led to a year-long series.”  Their website is
