Pisani named emerging leader

Bradley doctorate of physical therapy alumna Dr. Emily Pisani ’13 received the Illinois Physical Therapy Association’s Emerging Leader Award in April.
Pisani, who works for Athletico Physical Therapy, has served in various leadership roles for the IPTA Central District.
As a community volunteer, she has screened athletes for ACL injury risk and has conducted baseline concussion screening. She also has volunteered at Phoenix Daytime Drop-In Center in Champaign, Illinois, and has participated in a medical mission trip to the Dominican Republic.
Additionally, Pisani received the 2012 IPTA Outstanding Student Physical Therapist Award.
