Dr. Elena Gabor Honored for Teaching

Assistant Professor of Communication, Dr. Elena Gabor, received the prestigious Caterpillar Inc. Faculty Achievement Award for Teaching during the Bradley University Founder’s Day October 18, 2013.

Dr. Gabor joined the Bradley faculty after earning her PH.D. in organizational communication at Purdue University. She leads the University’s organizational Communication program and has made a number of changes that have resulted in a stronger curriculum, and has created a minor in organizational communication. She is the founder and faculty advisor to the student chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators. She is described as an outstanding teacher, mentor, and motivator.
