An area physician with experience in international medicine will lead a discussion on the Ebola crisis on Thursday, November 13, at 7 p.m. in Neumiller Lecture Hall in Bradley Hall.
Dr. Marc Carrigan, who is a family physician and member of the teaching faculty at the Methodist Family Medicine Residency and has served medically in 9 countries, including 4 in Africa, will lead the presentation. Dr. Carrigan will offer his insight into the disease, how it presents, how it is transmitted, and what can be done to stop its spread.
The presentation, sponsored by the College of Education and Health Sciences, is free and open to the public.
