EHS Honors Ceremony Celebrates Academic Achievement

“Unlocking the Mysteries of Success” event recognized outstanding student and faculty achievement.

Bradley University’s College of Education and Health Sciences celebrated honors students and outstanding faculty during the 2011 Honors Ceremony, “Unlocking the Mysteries of Success.” More than 250 students, faculty and guests attended the event.

A short play was performed, telling a tale of a lost diary of Lydia Moss Bradley and the secrets of success contained within. Dinner was then served, and over 200 students and faculty were recognized at the event.

Certificates were presented to the 200 EHS students who are graduating with honors. Nearly 50 scholarship recipients were recognized, as well as the nursing department’s nine graduating Global Scholars.

The event also recognized three outstanding EHS faculty members. Dr. Twila Lukowiak received the Joan L. Sattler Endowed Faculty Award for Excellence in Teaching, Dr. Deitra Kuester received the EHS College Faculty Award for Excellence in Research and Dr. Jana Hunzicker received the EHS College Faculty Award for Excellence in Service.
