Guitar Ensemble Fall Concert is December 7

Michael W. Hull will direct the Bradley University Guitar Ensemble in a truly diverse program of music in its fall concert on Sunday, December 7, at 7:30 p.m. in Dingeldine Music Center, located at 1417 W. Barker Avenue. The concert is free and open to the public. 

The program will feature music of the Renaissance, Baroque, Spanish Romantic and Jazz Eras. In addition, the group will perform the uplifting Pacific Coast Highway, by LAGQ member Andrew York. 

While the instrumentation of the Bradley Ensemble is comprised of classical guitars, some members of the group will be featured on electric guitar and bass during the jazz numbers. The audience can look forward to enjoying the various colors of jazz tunes such as the ballad But Beautiful, Blue Bossa, the Miles Davis/Bill Evans masterpiece Blue and Green and other works.
