IM Hosts 2011 iBradley Media Festival April 29 & 30

The i.bradley Media Festival is an annual festival organized by the Department of Interactive Media in the Slane College of Communications and Fine Arts at Bradley University located in Peoria, Illinois. The festival provides the opportunity for full-time students currently enrolled in universities, colleges and high schools in the State of Illinois to display their creative works in a public forum and be recognized for their artistic abilities and technical skills that are necessary in the production of quality new media works of art.
The Festival kicks off on Friday, April 29th with a screening of the feature film “Not Dead Yet” at 6:00 pm in room 126 of the Caterpillar Global Communication Center. “Not Dead Yet” was directed by Bradley Alumni, Sam Hull. The film has won several awards on the festival circuit and Mr. Hull will be on campus to present his movie and host a Q&A session afterwards.
On Saturday, all of the entries into the i.bradley Media Festival will be on display in various rooms of the Caterpillar Global Communications Center from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. High school, college and university students from all over the state of Illinois submitted work and award winners will be recognized.
At 6:00 p.m. on Saturday in room 126 of the C.G.C.C., Alumni of the Department of Interactive Media will take part in a panel discussion about the current state of things in the audio, web design, animation and gaming industries.
All events are free and open to the public.
