The Bradley University LAS Lecture Series will host a presentation titled “Floods, Invaders and Parasites: The Rise of Right-Wing Populism and Immigration Threat Narratives in the United States, the United Kingdom and Australia” on Wednesday, February 25, at 7 p.m. in the Wyckoff Room in Cullom-Davis Library.
The lecture will be delivered by Dr. Jackie Hogan, associate professor of sociology and chair of the Asian Studies program at Bradley.
Dr. Hogan will delve into current debates surrounding immigration and immigration policies in the United States, the United Kingdom and Australia. A reception will follow the lecture.
