Internship (unpaid) opportunity with The Body Project!!

Body Project Internship

We are seeking a candidate for an unpaid internship with The Body Project.  The intern’s main responsibility will be recruitment and retention of student members for The Body Project.  Other duties as listed below, may also be part of the intern’s responsibilities.  Total credit hour goal for the candidate chosen for the internship will determine duties.

Core duties include:

Assist in designing and implementing a campaign to bring attention to the Body Project, specifically focused on spreading awareness and involvement among the students at Bradley U.  During the course of this project, the intern should expect to

–plan events

–publicize and market the program

–develop membership records

–communicate with members via traditional and electronic means

–work closely with faculty and staff coordinators to maintain records and innovate outreach

 Additional duties may include:

–Web, email, and Social media development of Body Project records and materials and programming.  

–Acting as student advisor to Body Project Board.

 

Requirements:

Candidates should have excellent written communication skills, be self-motivated, and organized. The ideal candidate will have experience in and/or a career path toward study of body image, eating disorders activism.
