Journalism Professor Olatunji Dare will be honored in Lagos this month. A new book, ‘Public Intellectuals, the Public Sphere and the Public Spirit: Essays in Honour of Olatunji Dare’ will be presented on Thursday, July 17 at the MUSON Centre, Onikan, Lagos to mark the 70th birthday of leading newspaper columnist, journalism professor and former Chair and Editorial Page Editor of The Guardian. Professor Dare is considered Nigeria’s most celebrated satirist and one of the most respected newspaper columnists.
