Kirsten Haglund to speak on disordered eating.

Kirsten Haglund will give a talk titled ““Sexy, Shameful, Stigmatized: The Modern War on Women’s Bodies, Eating Disorders, and How to Break Free” on March 3 at 6:30 pm in Neumiller. Haglund is an ambassador for National Eating Disorders Awareness organization, and became Miss America in 2008 on a platform of raising awareness about eating disorders. The event is Free and Open to the Public.
On March 4, at noon in BR 126, Ms. Haglund with talk informally with students, staff and faculty about her work and issues around eating disorders. The event is open to all Bradley community members.
Both events are sponsored by The Body Project and the Intellectual and Cultural Affairs committee of Bradley University.
