Local Researcher to Discuss Alzheimer’s Disease, Research
Dr. Ken Fukuchi, Professor in the Department of Cancer Biology and Pharmacology at the University of Illinois College of Medicine, will discuss Alzheimer’s Disease on September 15.

The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at Bradley University will host a free lecture featuring Dr. Ken Fukuchi, Professor in the Department of Cancer Biology and Pharmacology at the University of Illinois College of Medicine, on Monday, September 15, at 7 p.m. in the Marty Theatre in the Michel Student Center, located at 915 N. Elmwood.
Dr. Fukuchi will discuss the pathological and physical changes that Alzheimer’s Disease brings to those affected, including some of the probable causes of the disease. He also will discuss his research on possible therapeutic solutions; the goals of the National Plan to Address Alzheimer’s Disease; and the implementation of clinical trials for preventative drugs.
