Professional Panel Offers Students Career Advice

On March 30, the student chapter of the International Association for Business Communication at Bradley University organized a career panel for Organizational Communication and Public Relations majors entitled: “Bridging the Gap – How the Communication Major Prepared Me for My Career”. The panel was open to all communication majors but was targeted especially to OC and PR majors. Our guests were all Communication graduates currently working in HR, PR, and other Organizational Communication-related careers:

1) Patrice Hess – Director of Organizational Learning at ICC
2) Matthew Noe – HR Manager at Caterpillar
3) Derek Kistner – Communications Representative at Caterpillar
4) Allyson Peffer – PR Coordinator at Peoria Civic Center
