Commercial advertisements featuring real bears promoting Bear Creek Pasta® are currently running on television stations in the Peoria area. Bradley alumna Stacie Dunn ’04 is behind the campaign.

Dunn is currently working as an account executive for Element 79, a Chicago advertising firm. She graduated from Bradley with a B.A. in communications with an emphasis in photography.

“The skills I learned have helped bring a unique perspective to an account management role. I was trained to see things differently through the lens of a camera which has come in handy over the years as I have developed over 20 commercials for leading brands,” Dunn said.

As account executive on the Bear Creek Country Kitchens̢ account, Dunn’s responsibility was to act as the liaison between the client and the agency departments.

“I have to streamline communication and ensure we are working efficiently as a team to maintain an accurate timeline and budget,” Dunn said

The production on this ad campaign went particularly well, and all of Element 79 and Bear Creek Country Kitchens® were pleased with the results.

“The production for this commercial was incredibly smooth and our Executive Producer and creative team worked in three cities with three different production houses to compile the end result. We were thrilled with the final outcome, as was the client!” Dunn said.

On top of that, the ad has been well received. They began running in Peoria on Aug. 15 and can be seen on major networks.

“This is the first time Bear Creek Country Kitchens® has advertised their brands and the pasta product is a new line for the company. We are continuing to monitor organic chatter online and reviews of the creative side but are pleased with the initial feedback,” Dunn said.

Dunn has had her hands full. She has been working for Element 79 for just over a year and has worked with many high-profile brands such as: Supercuts®, Amway Global, LasikPlus®, Libman Mops®, and Central DuPage Hospital.
