String Chamber Music Concert

The Bradley University String Chamber Music Concert, featuring student ensembles from the Department of Music, will be presented Saturday, December 6, at 3 p.m. in Dingeldine Music Center, located at 1417 W. Barker Avenue. Admission is free.
The recital will feature two string quartets, a trio, and a duo. The works being performed are Beethoven String Quartet in G major, Op. 18, No. 2, Schubert String Quartet in D minor, “Death and the Maiden,” Richard Hofmann String Trio, Op. 112, and Leclair Sonata for Two Violins in A major.
Performing in the recital are violinists Rachel Gonzalez, Julie Haring, Caleb Mackinder, Kayla Michaels, Anna Wilks, and Molly Wilson, violists Natasha Alley, Lindsay Kozlowski, and Amber McGhee, and cellist Billy Akers.
The chamber music ensembles are coached by Marcia Henry Liebenow, who is the professor of Violin, Viola, and Chamber Music at Bradley and Concertmaster of the Peoria Symphony Orchestra. Call 677-2602 for more information.
