Symphonic Winds and Symphonic Band to Give Spring Concert
The Symphonic Winds and Symphonic Band will give a Spring Concert on Sunday, April 27.

The Bradley University Symphonic Winds and Symphonic Band, under the direction of Dr. David Vroman, will give a Spring Concert on Sunday, April 27, at 3:00 p.m. in Dingeldine Music Center, located at 1417 W. Barker Avenue. Tickets are $5.00 for adults and free to students. Tickets are available at the door or in advance by contacting the Cultural Events Box Office at 309-677-2650.
The Symphonic Band will perform “Fanfare and Hymn of Brotherhood” by Jay Bocook; “Ye Banks and Braes O’Bonnie Doon” by Percy Grainger; “Where Never Lark or Eagle Flew” by James Curnow; and “Go” by Will Huff.
The Symphonic Winds, comprised of 55 members, will perform “Diamond Prelude” by James Hosay; “A Movement for Rosa” by Mark Camphouse; and “Symphony No. 3, Slavyanskaya” by Boris Kozhevnikov.
Dr. Vroman is the Director of Band Activities and the Chairperson for the Department of Music at Bradley. He also teaches advanced instrumental conducting, brass techniques, marching band techniques, horn and supervises student teachers. During the summer months Dr. Vroman is the conductor of the Peoria Municipal Band.
