Three technologies are most suited to teaching and learning:
- Bongo and Panopto – Bongo can be used to hold virtual live meetings with your class and for having students create video-based assignments. Panopto is a video tool for capturing lectures, demonstrations, and tutorials.
- Sakai – These Sakai sessions will provide an introduction for using Sakai for remote teaching including adding your syllabus, communicating with students, collecting assignments, holding discussion forums, and giving tests and quizzes.
Two tools are most suited to administrative tasks:
- Zoom and Google Hangouts Meet – Zoom and Google Hangouts Meet are tools for holding live video conferences and would be suitable for conducting meetings with staff, sharing files and content, or having one-on-one meetings. These tools are particularly applicable for conducting administrative functions remotely.
