Do you know what “Fake News” is? How did we get to a place where “alternative facts” replace actual facts and feelings have more weight than evidence? Lee McIntyre has an idea of how it all happened.

McIntyre, a Research Fellow at the Center for Philosophy and History of Science at Boston University, will dive into this topic for the annual Robison Lecture at Bradley. His latest book Post-Truth (MIT Press, 2018) explores the problem of “fake news” and “alternative facts.” The book was recently named CNN’s book-of-the-week and became an Amazon.com bestseller.

The Robison Lecture will take place on November 5 at 7 p.m. in the Student Center ballroom. It is free and open to the public.
