What I’m Looking Forward To This Semester – Lilly

Hey guys!!! I hope the second semester is going great for everyone. I know I’m really excited to be starting my last semester of college. It’s really bittersweet since I’m so ready to start working and make money, but I also really don’t want to leave college since I’m so happy here at Bradley.

This semester there are a few things that I’m really looking forward to. Obviously graduation at the end of the semester, but leading up to that I’ll be going on a spring break trip with my 6 other roommates, finishing up my senior project, and just enjoying my last semester here.

This semester my roommates and I are going on a spring break trip to the Bahamas. We’re going on a 5-day cruise where we sail for a day, spend two days on the island, and then sail back home for another day. Everything is all-inclusive so that means we paid a flat rate and will get our room, drinks, food, and some events on the cruise all included in that rate. I’m really excited to go because this is the last time I’ll actually have a spring break where I can go on a fun college trip with all of my friends. I can’t wait to tell you guys all about it later in the semester.

I’m also really looking forward to just enjoying this last semester. I’m in all Construction courses now except one business gen ed I have to take which will be pretty simple. I’m excited to go to all the Bradley Basketball games that are left in this semester. Hopefully they can keep up all the winning that they’re doing and make it into March Madness again. It was so exciting watching them last year when they played Michigan State in the first round.

One of the last things I’m really excited about is to finish my senior project this semester. I’m curious as to how my group and I will do on the final presentation and report. I know we will do good since we all have experience from our internships, but this isn’t exactly the same. Once my senior project is done all I’ll have to do is graduate!
