Winter Break (How I Spend Winter Break) – Matt

Finals are finally over which means we get to go home for break! My family, especially my grandparents, are always shocked by how much time we get off since I will be home for over a month. Those first couple weeks are always a blast. At first, you’re able to chillax at home without a care in the world. After always running around and being busy during the school year, it’s nice to have some time to just relax. I got some videogames that I still need to beat, so it’ll be nice to have time to sit back and enjoy them. Then once I get bored with that, it’s time to catch up with friends. I like to host some pretty famous game nights when I’m in town, and there is this pizza place by me called Nonnas, which is like Bacci’s but actually good, where we like to go to eat and hang out. My brother also just graduated and has a real person job now, so he’s said we would go get some sushi on his dime! We’re also planning on going to this cool arcade called Galloping Ghosts that has hundreds of arcade cabinets to play. After a few weeks of some fun stuff and relaxing, I actually start missing school. It’s nice being at Bradley where there is always something to do, and I can meet up with any of my friends at any time. It is always enjoyable to be home, but I am always ready at the end of our breaks to get back to Bradley.
