Biography
Maison is a fine artist based in central Illinois and currently serves as the Director of Fine Art at the Foster Gallery at Peoria First UMC. As an artist, he creates from a fundamental desire to express feelings through visual designs that draw on spiritual impressions and factual symbols inspired by his daily encounters and research. His work embodies the influence of his West African heritage.
Teaching
At Bradley University, Maison teaches Drawing, 2D Design, and Introduction to Studio Art. His teaching blends traditional techniques with contemporary ideas and tools. He aims to help students build strong foundational skills while encouraging them to explore their own creative paths.
