Security and Health Abroad

The global health pandemic of 2020 means that conditions affecting international study and travel will continue to evolve. Accordingly, we will develop new and revised recommendations for our students and faculty engaged in international academic programs. While this guidance may change and evolve, one factor does not: the health and safety of our students and faculty have been a longstanding priority of the Study Abroad Office. Security abroad — for your health, your safety and your mental equilibrium — is our most important responsibility.

The Study Abroad Office will continue to monitor the global situation with particular regard to how it affects education abroad. We will use all the resources provided by the government, our professional organizations, our peer institutions and our smart, dedicated and resourceful colleagues in the U.S. and abroad who are committed to the field of international education.
