Who We Are
The Office of Global Studies and Initiatives (OGSI) supports, enhances, and champions global education comprehensively at Bradley University. The OGSI works collaboratively with faculty, staff, and units across campus to support, promote, and expand learning opportunities for Bradley students to develop global and cross-cultural competences. It facilitates the building of networks across divisions and colleges to foster multidisciplinary education, strengthen student support, and advance partnerships that will augment these efforts and activities. OGSI plays a critical role in advancing the units, programs, and special opportunities that encompass Global Bradley.
The Office of Global Studies and Initiatives coordinates closely with the following globally-focused entities on campus via the Coordinating Group:

- Residential Life – Global Living and Learning Community (Student Affairs)

The Office of Global Studies and Initiatives enjoys a close working relationship with the Peoria Area World Affairs Council (PAWAC), which is also located in Bradley Hall 248, and with the Peoria Area Friends of International Students (PAFIS). These partnerships benefit Bradley University faculty, staff, students, and alumni.
The Office of Global Studies and Initiatives (OGSI) External Advisory Board is comprised of globally-focused professionals who assist the Faculty Director of the OGSI in furthering the OGSI’s mission to support, enhance, and champion global education comprehensively at Bradley University.

Engagements & Grants
The U.S. Department of State’s Gilman International Scholarship Program enables students of limited financial means to study or intern abroad, providing them with skills critical to our national security and economic prosperity. If you are currently receiving Pell Grant funding, check out this opportunity!
Bradley students engage in internships all over the world. You can integrate internships with semester study abroad programs, and summer internships are available.
The Office of Sponsored Programs at Bradley supports faculty and staff seeking external funding to conduct research, scholarship, creative work, curricular and pedagogical initiatives, and educational outreach.
The world comes to you, right here in Peoria! Whether it’s a lecture from an ambassador, the weekly global news roundup or an international trivia contest, you’ll find endless opportunities to learn about the world.
Our team of trade assistants helps businesses find new export markets, partners and solve trade problems. We also work with students.
Develop your leadership and organization skills as you engage with other students who have a passion for cross-cultural understanding and the world.
Students in the College of LAS can take advantage of opportunities to design and conduct research and creative projects, working closely with faculty mentors.

Marketing—Global Supply Chain Concentration

World Languages and Cultures Majors and Minors
Bradley’s world language programs give you a strong foundation in the languages and cultures you will encounter in a globalized world. Majors, minors and two-year sequences equip you to understand other cultures and write and speak their languages.
Anthropology Minor
Bradley’s anthropology minor enables you to comprehend values and practices different from your own. You develop an appreciation of and sensitivity to cultural diversity and better understand your own life in the context of larger global and historical processes.
Asian Studies Minor
Bradley’s Asian studies program helps you understand the political, social, economic and cultural forces that have influenced and continue to shape Asia. The geographic and cultural areas examined include East, Southeast, South and Inner Asia, the Middle East and the Asian diaspora.
European Studies Minor
Bradley’s European studies minor helps you understand the many cultural backgrounds that form the European experience, as well as the social, economic and political forces that hold together this diverse continent.
Latin American Studies Minor
