Important Dates

Fall 2023

August 18 Honors student move-in, requests to move in early need to be approved by the Office of Residential Living 9 - 3 pm
August 19 First Year Move-in - Students should arrive according to their selected appointment times. 8 am - 4 pm
August 19 First floor meeting at 5:30 pm
August 20 Returning Student Move-in - Students should arrive according to their selected appointment times. 8 am - 3 pm
August 23 First Day of Classes
September 1 Last day to change meal plan
September 4 Labor day, students have classes, University offices closed
October 7 Fall Break begins (halls don't close)
October 11 Class resume on Wednesday
October 1-31 SAC Spring 2024 Applications Available
November 22 Thanksgiving recess begins (No classes); Halls close at 10 am; Housing during Thanksgiving Break must be submitted through request form.
November 26 Residence Hall reopen at 1 pm
December 7 Final Examinations begin
December 13 Final Examinations end
December 14 Residence Halls Close at 10 am
December 16 Commencement

Spring 2024

January 3 University offices re-open
January 14 Residence Halls open for students at 1pm (No appointment needed). Meals are available at noon.
January 26 Last day to change spring semester meal plan
February 8 ARA applications available
February 1-21 SAC applications available
February 1-28 Housing application available - RETURNING STUDENTS; Room Renewal ends February 28th
March 7 ARA applications due
March 9 Residence Halls close for spring break at 10 am. Student Apartment Complex and St. James Apartments will remain open. Housing during spring break must be sumbitted through request form.
March 1-31 Room Selection - RETURNING STUDENTS (See Email)
March 17 Residence Halls re-open after spring break at 1 pm.
May 2 Final Exams begin
May 8 Final Exams end
May 9 Residence Halls close for the semester at 10 am
May 11 Commencement
May 13 May Interim classes begin
July 17-21 Room Selection - NEW STUDENTS
August 1 Move In Appointment Signup sent via email
August 9 Summer Housing ends
August 16 - 18 Fall 2024 move-in
