Family Weekend

September 13-14, 2024

Family Weekend is a time for families to experience Bradley. Families can enjoy movies together, battle on the Markin Center basketball courts, share a picnic on the quad and cheer on the Braves.

There is no advance registration required and families are invited to choose how to spend their time with their Brave.

Markin Recreation Center open Campus Recreation 6:00am-9:00pm Markin Recreation Center Family members can enjoy the campus recreation center all weekend. The family pass for the weekend that will be $10 per family member over the age of 16. Anyone under the age of 16 will be free for the weekend but will need to be accompanied by an adult. The pass will be valid from 6am Friday through 10pm Sunday.
ALAS Levanta tu bandera Association of Latin American Students 3:00pm Alumni Quad - Circle of Pride Kick Off Hispanic Heritage Month with the Association of Latin American Students as they host the annual Levanta tu Bandera (Raise Your Flag) event.
Bradley Volleyball vs. Eastern Illinois Bradley Athletics 6:30pm Renaissance Coliseum Cheer on the Bradley Volleyball team! Students are admitted free with their Bradley ID, families and guests may purchase tickets for $3 online.
ACBU Presents Dueling Pianos ACBU 8:00pm Michel Student Center Ballroom Midwest Dueling Pianos is an interactive musical comedy experience will have you singing, shouting, dancing, and laughing. Be sure to request your favorite songs! Cash bar available for those 21 and over, snacks and softdrinks for all. Black and white attire encouraged!

Family Weekend Service Project Bradley SERVE 10:30-11:30am Olin Quad (Rain Location: Markin Recreation Center) Join us as we package care packages for four local non-profit agencies from Peoria. All students families and guests welcome to walk up.
Family Weekend Food Trucks Student Activities Office 11am-1pm Olin Quad Grab a bite for lunch before the Bradley Volleyball game! Stop by and support our local food trucks.

ACBU Cinema: Inside Out 2 ACBU 2:00pm Marty Theatre Students, families and friends are invited to enjoy Inside Out 2! Free concessions including popcorn, candy and drinks are available.
Bingo Student Activities Office 7:00-9:00pm Markin Recreation Center Joins us for movie bingo and live music bingo! Multiple bingo games complete with prizes, food and fun for the whole family. Mobile device needed to play.

Pettengill-Morron House Museum Saturday, September 14, 2024 from 1-4pm 1212 W. Moss Ave. We are displaying an extensive private collection of 1930's Bradley Polytechnic Institute memorabilia including yearbooks, sweaters and a photo of the 1932 football team, to name a few. Special pricing for BU families is $20 for 3 to 4 visitors. Individual pricing is $10/adults, $5/students.
