Braves Lead

Braves Lead is a comprehensive leadership development program that encourages students to be both informed and engaged citizens. Based off the Social Change Model of Leadership, students will learn in a co-curricular model that incorporates seminars, campus events, and volunteer opportunities. Through this program students will be able to strengthen their leadership skills and redefine what leadership means to them. All students are encouraged and welcomed to participate in Braves Lead. This program would be able to be completed within 20 to 25 hours.


  • Attend an orientation
  • Attend all 4 required seminars
    • Consciousness of Self
    • Congruence
    • Commitment
    • Social Identity
  • Write a 100-150 word reflection for each seminar
  • Perform 10 volunteer hours that are submitted and approved through Braves Volunteer
    • Write a 100-150 word reflection
  • Join a student organization
  • Attend 3 civic engagement events
    • Write a 100-150 word reflection
  • Perform an exit interview with the Braves Lead GA
